Sam Carter is a Senior Reservoir Engineer with over 20 years of experience, currently working within Shell’s Waterflood and EOR Centre of Expertise in Aberdeen. They provide integrated technical guidance on Gas Injection developments and contribute to Shell-operated assets and joint ventures. Sam has an in-depth understanding of subsurface reservoir recovery processes and has previously worked as a geophysicist with BHP and Golder Associates. They hold a BSc in Geophysics from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
