Sandro Mercio

Sandro Mercio is a seasoned Oil Exploration Geologist with 25 years of diverse experience across service companies, government agencies, and both small and major firms. Currently serving as the Development Manager for Shell Operated Ventures Brasil, Sandro leads a team of 25 professionals focused on projects involving well integrity, sub-surface studies, and data management. Sandro previously held various roles at Shell, including Sub-surface Coordinator and Exploration Lead, where they demonstrated expertise in seismic interpretation, well planning, and exploration management. Sandro earned a Master’s degree in Structural Geology and an MBA in Business Administration from UFRJ, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from UFOP.
