Scott Lang

Scott Lang is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering and management, currently serving as Scotford Turnaround Manager at Shell since January 2005. Over the years at Shell, Scott has held multiple leadership roles including Scotford Non-routine Execution Manager and Major Projects Integration Manager. In addition to company roles, Scott has been the Director of the Alberta Council of Turnaround Industry Maintenance Stakeholders (ACTIMS) since June 2018, focusing on enhancing skilled trades staffing for maintenance projects in the oilsands sector. Scott has also contributed to community sports organizations, including serving as a volunteer director for the Edmonton International Track Club and Salto Gymnastics Club. With previous experience as a Principal at Pacific Industrial Engineering Ltd. and positions at Norske Skog, Bradken Limited, and Esso, Scott possesses a comprehensive engineering background, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
