Scott McCoy

Scott McCoy is an experienced economics professional with extensive expertise in energy economics and portfolio management. Scott held the position of Economics Manager at Arrow Energy from February 2021 to January 2023. Prior to this, Scott served as Head of Economics and Portfolio Management at Qatar Shell, overseeing economic analyses for investment proposals related to the Pearl GTL project. Notable roles at Shell included Chief Economist for Upstream International Europe, where Scott was involved in economic analyses for new business opportunities and portfolio management across multiple regions. Earlier in the career, Scott worked at Fletcher Challenge in various roles, including Valuation and Analysis Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing economic analysis and managing risk within the organization. Scott holds multiple degrees from the University of Auckland, including a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics, a BCom in Economics and Finance, and an MSc with Distinction in Mathematics.
