Sertaç Oruç

Sertaç Oruç, PhD, serves as the CC Lead at the Analytics Engineering Centre of Excellence for Shell since January 2023, while also being the Principal Data Engineer. With extensive experience in data engineering and analytics, Sertaç co-founded Flower Audio Software in June 2012, a venture currently generating passive income without direct involvement. Previous roles include Lead Data Engineer at Royal Schiphol Group, Owner of Granularity Data Solutions, and Senior Data Engineer in various companies including LeasePlan and Merkle Nederland. Sertaç has actively contributed to projects utilizing AWS services and open-source tools, and has experience in managing teams across international projects. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology, an MSc in Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
