Shubhajit Dutta

Shubhajit Dutta, CEng MIChemE, has extensive experience in process engineering within the chemical and petrochemical industries. From July 2008 to January 2012, Shubhajit served as a Process Specialist-I at Fluor Daniel, where responsibilities included delivering feasibility studies, FEED, and detail engineering packages for projects up to 1 billion USD, primarily in gas processing. Prior to that, from August 2004 to July 2008, Shubhajit held the position of Deputy Manager in Fluid Catalytic Cracking Tech Service at Essar Oil Limited, focusing on the commissioning of a greenfield FCC and providing technology support. More recently, Shubhajit worked at Shell in various roles, including Senior Technologist for SMPO, Lead Process Engineer for Chemical Solvents at the Pernis Refinery, and Technologist for Fluid Catalytic Cracking, overseeing technical support and leading projects across different sites in Asia Pacific and Europe. Shubhajit holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry and a B.Tech in Chemical Technology, both from the University of Calcutta.
