Sid Ghoshal is currently the Quant Trading Book Lead at Shell, where they research, disseminate, and implement scalable algorithmic strategies for proprietary trading. Previously, Sid served as a Senior Quantitative Trader in the same department at Shell, and before that, they held roles at Deutsche Bank as a Vice President in Commodities Trading and at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as an Analyst in Debt Capital Markets Origination. Sid's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning, as well as Master’s Degrees in Computer Science and Finance and Economics from the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics, respectively. Additionally, Sid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Management from Imperial College London.
