Sidney Perovano

Sidney Perovano is a Senior Petroleum Engineer at Shell, currently focused on pre-salt assets. They have extensive experience in production optimization, artificial lift, flow assurance, and well design for deepwater wells. Previously, Sidney held positions at 3R Petroleum, Chevron, and Trident Energy, where they led significant projects such as the optimization of heavy oil fields and the development of innovative artificial lift techniques. Sidney earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Petroleum Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, complementing their Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and a specialization in Offshore Systems Engineering.
