Simon Bennett is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and cost engineering within the energy sector. Simon served as the Lead Cost Engineer for the Penguins Redevelopment Project at Shell from February 2018 to October 2019. Prior to this, Simon held various roles at Turner & Townsend, including Consultant and Associate Director within Turner & Townsend Energy, where Simon contributed expertise to multiple projects, particularly with Shell in Aberdeen. Simon's earlier career includes a position as a Business Executive with Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, focusing on local economic development through the redevelopment of brownfield sites. Simon holds a PG Dip in Local Economic Development from The University of Glasgow, an HND in Architectural Conservation from Glasgow College of Building and Printing, and a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University.
