Sivakumar Balachandran

Sivakumar Balachandran is a seasoned Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) professional with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Global HSSE Lead at Shell. With a strong background in HSSE processes, competence assurance, and training, they have held various roles, including Regional HSSE Competence Assurance Lead and Global HSSE Learning & Competency Advisor. Sivakumar also has experience in training development and engineering, having worked as a Project Engineer and Lecturer in Environmental Engineering. They hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and an M.Tech in Energy & Environmental Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
