Srimoyee Bhattacharya

Srimoyee Bhattacharya is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering, currently serving as Team Lead for the Americas Portfolio at Shell since January 2013. In this role, Srimoyee manages a team of Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers to advise, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML projects focusing on Deep Water GOM assets, decarbonization, and chemical products. Previous roles at Shell include Senior Data Scientist and Senior Reservoir Engineer, where Srimoyee specialized in predictive analytics, carbon capture, and production forecasting. Srimoyee's background includes research internships at Halliburton, teaching and research assistantships at the University of Houston, as well as visiting scholar positions at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of Southern California. Srimoyee holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
