Steve Carver

Steve Carver is an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in High Performance Computing and Technical Infrastructure at Shell since March 2017. Prior to this role, Steve served as an Applications, Data and Storage Engineer, providing operational IT services. At Hess Corporation from April 2006 to January 2017, Steve held roles including Subsurface Applications Advisor, managing Reservoir Engineering applications and optimizing HPC Cluster performance, as well as providing technical support for various subsurface applications. Steve’s earlier experience includes positions at BG Group, Enigma Data Systems, and LASMO North Sea PLC, ranging from Applications Support GeoScientist to Project Geologist. Steve holds a BSc in Geology from the University of London.
