Steve Kercheval has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning as a Switching Engineer at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from September 1978 to December 1992, where responsibilities included capital expenditure planning for telephone switches. From January 1993 to June 2000, Steve served as a Senior Design Consultant II at SBC Communications, providing sales engineering support for telecommunications solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Following this, Steve worked at Lucent Technologies as an Account Manager from June 2000 to November 2006, managing switching, optical, and data products. Since October 2007, Steve has held the position of Global Activity Lead and Telecom Project Manager at Shell Oil Company, focusing on global consulting and project delivery within the Downstream business. Additionally, since August 2014, Steve has been a Senior Consultant for Managed Network Services at Shell, overseeing significant telecom service migrations. Steve earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a minor in Chemistry.
