Steven Tan

Steven Tan is a strategic problem solver and deal maker with extensive experience in corporate strategy and M&A within the energy sector. Currently serving as the M&A Deal Lead for Asia at Shell since 2021, they manage the entire lifecycle of inorganic opportunities, including acquisitions and joint ventures. Prior to this role, Steven held several positions at Shell, including Licence Markets Regional Manager and Mobility Territory Manager, where they demonstrated expertise in brand operations and market development across Southeast Asia. Steven earned a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and has completed specialized training in managing mergers, acquisitions, and divestments at INSEAD.
