Steven Zijlstra

Steven Zijlstra has extensive experience in finance and strategy within the energy sector, currently serving as the Finance Manager for Europe Renewable Power Generation at Shell since June 2006. In this role, Zijlstra is involved in the strategic direction of renewable power projects and manages various financial aspects of energy transitions, including hydrogen and carbon capture initiatives. Previous roles at Shell include Strategy & Portfolio Lead for New Energies, Manager of M&A and Commercial Finance, and Commercial Finance Advisor for Alternative Energies. Zijlstra also holds positions on the supervisory board of EOLFI and serves as a Joint Venture Board Director for MunmuBaram, guiding efforts toward sustainable energy solutions. Zijlstra's educational background includes an MSc in Economics and an Executive Master of Finance and Control.
