Tennille Featherston

Subsea Systems Engineer

Tennille Featherston is a Subsea Systems Engineer at Shell, contributing to the Dover subsea tie-back project since August 2020. Previously, Tennille held positions as a CSU Project Engineer, supporting the commissioning of Shell's polyethylene plant, and as an Offshore Support Engineer, ensuring daily operations on the Appomattox asset in the Gulf of Mexico. Tennille's experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, leading a team to enhance biofuel processing efficiency, and as a Production Engineering Intern at Marathon Oil Corporation, where performance of lower producing wells was significantly increased. Tennille also gained practical exposure during participation in the Shell Drilling and Production Camp and completed a Chemical Engineering Internship at the Texas Department of Transportation, focusing on material analysis and weathering performance. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Tennille has a strong technical foundation in the energy industry.
