Thomas Rommel has extensive experience in leadership and operations across multiple industries, primarily within Shell since March 2013. As the Global Category Lead for Rotating Equipment Aftermarket, responsibilities include overseeing a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers in Germany and Poland. Previous roles at Shell include Sr. Purchasing Category Specialist and Scheduling Team Lead, where management of demand planning for fuels deliveries was crucial. Prior to Shell, Thomas worked at Sabre Holdings as Customer Operations Supervisor, leading customer operations for both B2B and B2C sectors, and at Kraft Foods as CEE Load Control Center Supervisor, managing food transportation activities. Early in the career, Thomas was the Transportation and Forwarding Manager at KOLTRANS, overseeing forwarding professionals and a fleet of 50 drivers.
