Tom Hopper

Tom Hopper is an experienced petroleum engineer with a diverse background in reservoir engineering and subsurface management. Beginning a career as a Police Sergeant with Lothian and Borders Police, Tom developed strong leadership and risk management skills before transitioning to the energy sector. Tom's tenure includes roles at BG Group, where participation in a global rotational program enhanced expertise in subsurface disciplines, and positions at QGC supporting the pioneering QCLNG project. At Shell, Tom advanced to roles such as Subsurface Team Lead and Production Optimisation Manager, focusing on integrated reservoir modeling and production optimization. Tom holds a Master's in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a degree in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
