Tom Styranec

Tom Styranec is currently the Polyethylene Technology Manager at Shell Polymers, utilizing their extensive experience in polymer engineering. Previously, Tom held senior roles at ExxonMobil, focusing on safety improvements and the development of new polymer grades. They contributed significantly to global HDPE and PP platforms and played a key role in advancing quality initiatives. Tom's earlier experience includes research and engineering positions at NOVA Chemicals and The Dow Chemical Company, where they developed innovative processes and products in the chemical engineering field. Tom holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University.
