Tom van Merode

Tom van Merode possesses extensive experience in maintenance and supervision within the automotive and industrial sectors. Tom began a career as an Onderhoudsmonteur for larger commercial vehicles at Van Tilburg-Bastianen Groep B.V. from August 2005 to February 2009, focusing on DAF vehicles. Subsequently, Tom worked at Shell in various roles, including Field Supervisor for welding and fitting, Bevelvoerder for industrial fire brigade, and Maintenance Planner, where responsibilities included material orders, work preparation, and maintenance management of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines. Most recently, Tom served as a Maintenance Planner Mechanical at LyondellBasell, specializing in static and rotating equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and work permits. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in Maintenance & Mechanics from Hogeschool Rotterdam, completed in 2015.
