Toni Mika

Ultimate Potential Advisor, Low Carbon Solutions at Shell

Toni Mika is an experienced professional in business performance improvement and engineering, currently serving as an Ultimate Potential Advisor for the Low Carbon Solutions division at Shell since November 2022. Previously, as a Business Development Manager and Principal Advisor for Innovation and Decarbonization at Newmont Corporation, Toni led the innovation program and managed a portfolio of conceptual studies. Toni also co-managed technical due diligence for the $10 billion acquisition of Goldcorp while serving as Corporate Development Technical Manager. Additional roles include Project Development Engineer at Equinor, Facilities Engineer at XTO Energy, and various positions at ExxonMobil, where responsibilities ranged from engineering planning to site engineering in significant global projects. Toni holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, complemented by corporate leadership training from Thunderbird School of Global Management and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
