Tristan Sheppard

Tristan Sheppard is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer and Lead Architect for Shell Energy Trading Modernisation Programme since March 2021. In this role, Tristan focuses on modernizing the IT landscape to support future trading operations in a decarbonized environment. Previously, Tristan held positions at Amazon Web Services as an EMEA Specialist Solutions Architect and at Total, where responsibilities spanned software development management, architecture, and delivery across energy trading projects. With a background in software development and engineering leadership, Tristan has consistently driven technical excellence across multi-disciplinary teams while fostering agile methodologies. Tristan holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University.
