Virgil Rayneri is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Virgil served as a Rotating Equipment Engineer/Supervisor at Shell Oil (Upstream) from 2006 to 2010, and later transitioned to the role of Reliability Engineering Manager for Gulf of Mexico from 2010 to 2014. Currently, Virgil is the Rotating Equipment Team Leader for Downstream Americas at Shell, overseeing engineering support across North and South America. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University earned in 1990, Virgil has consistently demonstrated leadership and expertise in rotating and static equipment engineering throughout their career.
