Ward van Balen

Ward van Balen is an experienced Information and Digital Technology Manager with a focused expertise in retail operations, digital strategy, and project management. Currently at Shell since October 2014, Ward has held multiple key roles, including defining an integrated strategic IDT plan for US Retailing & Operations, and managing global IT strategies for Shell Mobility. Prior experience includes a role as Procurement Operations Assistant at Unilever, where cost models were developed for price forecasting. Ward holds a Master's Degree in Business Information Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management, both from institutions affiliated with Erasmus University.
