Yang Xue

Yang Xue is a Research Geophysicist and Projects Portfolio Manager in Chemical Business Development at Shell, where they lead cross-functional teams and manage business opportunities to meet sustainability goals. Yang is responsible for integrating multi-disciplinary data to enhance decision-making in reservoir management and has implemented machine learning techniques to optimize geophysical data interpretation. Previously, they held internships at Inpho and Shell, focused on digital terrain modeling and reservoir management, respectively. Yang earned a PhD in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Texas at Austin and holds multiple degrees in aerospace engineering and data science.
