Anco Maan has extensive experience in reservoir engineering, holding various senior positions at Shell since August 1994, currently serving as the Global Discipline Head Reservoir Engineering & Resource Volume Manager. Maan's responsibilities encompass oversight of Shell's reservoir engineering and resource volume management across multiple countries, including Albania, Brunei Darussalam, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Russia, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom. Previous roles include Chief Petroleum Engineer, General Manager Subsurface Disciplines, and Project Leader for significant projects such as the Seria North Flank waterflood project. Maan's academic background includes a PhD and MSc in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, along with foundational education at Augustinianum and other institutions.
