Shellmates is a group of students passionate about the field of information security. Formerly known as OWASP, the group was the first OWASP representative in Algeria.

It was created on December 19, 2011, through the initiative of ambitious, motivated, and talented students united by the same passion.

The main objective of the club is to build a community of infosec enthusiasts, to motivate, and to encourage the exchange of knowledge in the field of information security, a domain that has been receiving much attention in recent years.
