David Cattermole

David Cattermole is an experienced mechanical engineer with a robust background in designing physical assets and commercialization of engineering solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Shellworks since April 2021, David previously held the same title at DCA Design International from October 2016 to April 2021, where contributions focused on enabling new user experiences in an increasingly electronic and connected world. Prior to that, David was Managing Director at Cattalytic Solutions Limited, overseeing marketing and engineering support for patent commercialization, and worked as Lead Engineer at Two Heads Are Better Ltd., developing an innovative aquatic fitness device. David's earlier roles include mechanical engineering placements and work experience at leading firms, complemented by a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with Advanced Design and Innovation from the University of Bath.
