States Lee

States Lee is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in design and manufacturing management. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Manager at Shellworks since August 2025, States previously held positions as Engineering Lead and Mechanical Engineer at Notpla, focusing on sustainable packaging solutions. States also contributed to hardware and manufacturing development as a Device Design Engineer at Cytiva and was involved in product research and troubleshooting at Daye. Earlier career roles included design and engineering positions at MARSHMALLOW LASER FEAST LIMITED, Plush & Nuggets, Air Liquide, and the MIT Media Lab. States holds a Master of Science and a Master of Arts in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
