Danzel Blash

Danzel Blash is an experienced program manager currently working at Sheltering Arms since January 2019. Previously, Danzel served as the Director of Family and Community at East Side House Settlement from January 2018 to August 2018 and worked as a Family Engagement Specialist at Trabajamos Community Headstart from September 2013 to October 2016, focusing on family enrollment in federal Head Start programs and data management. Danzel also held roles as a Student Ambassador at Calling All Saints, raising funds for the St. Lawrence fund, and acted as a College Advisor at the Urban Assembly Organization, mentoring high school students through their transition to college. Danzel holds a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University.
