Jamie Gotz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they worked as the Manager of Business Development for Crest Leather Ltd in the UK and Europe. From 2016 to 2018, they held multiple positions at WTax (VAT IT Group), including Director of Growth & Partnerships (EMEA) and Regional Director for Europe. In 2018, they worked at Craven Street Capital in the field of Corporate Finance. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Head of Strategy & Partnerships at Whyable.

In 2019, they joined Allia Ltd as the Director of Ventures, and in 2020, they became a Founder-in-Residence (OSL2) at Antler, a global VC investing in early-stage tech startups. During this time, they also Co-founded Shepherd, a VC-backed SaaS meeting tool, and served as its Co-founder & CEO. In 2020, they became a Board Advisor at Airband Technologies.

In 2022, Jamie Gotz took on a role as a Mentor at Oneday. Their work experience showcases their expertise in business development, partnerships, strategy, and entrepreneurship, as well as their ability to lead and collaborate with teams.

Jamie Gotz has a Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate degree in Economics & Management Sciences from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, Jamie obtained an Honours Degree in Economics & Management Sciences from the same university. Jamie also holds an IEB - National Senior Certificate with a focus on Financial Accounting, Business Management, and Biology from St Andrew's College, Grahamstown. Furthermore, Jamie has completed the Investment Management - IMC program from the CFA Institute. In terms of certifications, Jamie has completed the Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals program from the University of Virginia, the Investment Management Certificate (CertIM) from Fitch Learning, and the Private Equity and Venture Capital program from Università Bocconi.
