Bernhard Mueller is an offensive security researcher with over two decades of experience in identifying and responsibly disclosing critical zero-day vulnerabilities. They have presented findings at renowned security conferences such as DEFCON, Hack-in-the-Box, and Ethereum DevCon, and received the "Best Research" Pwnie Award at Black Hat USA. Bernhard was instrumental in creating the OWASP Mobile App Security Verification Standard (MASVS) and developed Mythril, a widely used symbolic execution tool for EVM bytecode. After a brief retirement from ConsenSys Diligence in 2020, they are currently engaged as a Security Researcher at Spearbit Labs and as an AI Research Lead at Sherlock, while continuing to focus on niche protocols in web3 security. Bernhard holds a degree in Telecommunications from Fachhochschule St Pölten.
