Sylvain Gobeil

Sylvain Gobeil has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information technology. Sylvain has held various roles starting from a Technician Specialist at CSSS IUGS in 2009 to their current position as Director of Technologies - Cloud, Automation, and Orchestration at Sherweb since 2023. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in infrastructure management, product development, and system administration. Sylvain's journey includes positions such as Consultant Programmer Analyst at Rexfab Inc., IT Support/Specialist Programmer at Les Ateliers B.G. Inc., and Administrator of IT systems at the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de l'Estrie.

Sylvain Gobeil obtained a DEC in Informatique from Collège de Sherbrooke in 1998 and an AEC in Installation et gestion de réseaux from Collège de l'Estrie in 2001. Sylvain also pursued additional certifications from various institutions including VMware, Microsoft, and The Linux Foundation. In 2019, they received a KCA VSA R9.5 Certification from Kaseya University and has participated in various short courses including programming applications for mobile devices and mastering PostgreSQL and CentOS Linux in 2016.
