Ed Thompson

Ed Thompson has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles at The Sherwin-Williams Company, serving as Senior Vice President of Finance for both The Americas Group and the Performance Coatings Group, among other positions. Thompson has been responsible for comprehensive financial functions, mergers and acquisitions, and internal audit oversight. In addition to a long-standing career at Sherwin-Williams, Thompson holds board member positions at the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges and Kent State University and has served on the Board of Refrigeration Sales Corp. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kent State University and further negotiations training from Harvard Business School.
