Akshay C. is a graduate research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) within the Resilient Intelligent Systems Lab. Akshay has designed simulation infrastructure for testing VIO procedures, improved autonomous quadcopter initialization methods through innovative data fusion techniques, and enhanced state estimation performance in complex environments.
