Andrew Nicholas is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Shield AI since January 2019, Andrew focuses on VTOL aircraft development and previously worked on UAV platform solutions. Prior experience includes positions at Ericsson as a Senior Architect for IPTV streaming, operating as an Engineering Manager at Nintendo on the Wii U, and leading development for Hyper-V at Microsoft. Earlier roles include Lead Engineer at Connectix for Virtual PC, Software Developer at Metrowerks, and Senior Engineer with Apple, where Andrew worked on the Macintosh Finder Desktop and contributed to early Apple II software engineering. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Moravian University.
