Chris Denton

Chris Denton is currently the Head of Fleet Asset Management at Shield AI, where they manage a large internal fleet of V-BATs. Previously, Chris held various leadership roles in the US Navy, including V-5 Division Officer and Catapult Officer on the USS George Washington, where they oversaw daily operations for 60 sailors and successfully managed aircraft launches. They also served as a Mission Commander and Tactical Coordinator for Patrol Squadron NINE, and as Assistant Operations and Plans Department Head for UAV operations, developing pioneering tactics for high altitude drones. Chris has experience in risk management as a Principal Risk Specialist at Capital One and coordinated significant network upgrades as a Project Manager at IBM Services. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
