Eric Adlam has a diverse work experience. Eric started in 2010 as an Associate Software Engineer at Commission Junction, where they worked until 2012. After that, they joined Peace Corps as a Computer Science Teacher, teaching various programming and web development topics from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they also helped create a profitable software company called LuminLabs. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Connexion Systems. In 2016, Eric joined Facebook as a Production Engineer, where they stayed until 2018. Currently, they are working at Shield AI, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 2018 and progressing to their current role as Principal Software Engineer.

Eric Adlam completed their Master of Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued Continuing Education in Computer Science at Santa Barbara City College from 2009 to 2011. Eric also holds a B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology and Primatology from the University of Utah, earned between 2002 and 2007. In addition to their degrees, Eric obtained certifications in "Getting and Cleaning Data" and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera in 2014.
