Mark Barrasso is a computer engineer, inventor, and builder focused on developing intuitive ground control systems to efficiently manage UAS operations. They co-founded Growtonix LLC, where they served as CTO from 2015 to 2017, creating the GrowBox, an automated system for plant care. They have also held positions as a software engineer at Cisco and as a technical lead at Synthetix, where they contributed to innovative technologies in enterprise collaboration and decentralized finance. Currently serving as a senior software engineer at Shield AI since 2025, Mark is dedicated to optimizing ground control software for UAVs. Mark earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University in 2015.
