Myron Phan

Myron Phan is an Engineer II at Shield AI, where responsibilities include state estimation since June 2023. Prior experience includes a graduate student role at UC San Diego and a position as a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Engineer at Shield AI in 2022. As Chief Engineer for UCI HyperXite during the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition, Myron managed a team of 20, overseeing systems implementation and the propulsion system development. Previous roles include Mechanical Engineering Intern at One-Cycle Control, Inc., Undergraduate Student Researcher at Gorodetsky Group, Chassis Engineer for Anteater Racing, and a founding team member of the UCI Engineering Conference. Myron holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science from UC Irvine, complemented by training in advanced topics such as autonomous flight and C++.
