Toby Stewart

Toby Stewart is an experienced professional specializing in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV) within military operations. Currently serving as a Field Specialist at Shield AI since December 2021, Toby also holds the position of ScanEagle Site Lead at Insitu Inc. since March 2016. Prior roles include serving as a ScanEagle Field Service Representative with VT Group and a UAS Program Manager at various Naval Special Warfare units, where responsibilities included managing multi-million dollar UAS programs, training Special Operations Forces, and overseeing extensive UAS operations in support of diverse military missions. Toby possesses a strong background in meteorology and oceanography, having served as a subject matter expert in the US Navy for over two decades. Education includes studies at the University of Cincinnati and attendance at Lakota High School.
