Ram Caspi

Ram Caspi has a wealth of experience in various roles and industries. Ram started their career as a Project Manager at Siemens Data Communications, leading projects involving hardware and software development. Ram then moved on to become the Chief Technology Officer at Siemens, where they provided technical direction and identified new technologies and business opportunities. Caspi later served as the Director of Architecture & Solution Engineering at Siemens Enterprise Communications, leading system engineering and cross-product system architecture for various products.

In 2009, Caspi became the Chief Technology Officer at Chron ITS, where they led strategic planning, business development, and software development activities. Ram was responsible for commercializing innovative Social TV product concepts. Following this, Caspi joined Intellectual Ventures as the Portfolio Strategy Director, overseeing strategic planning, technology analysis, market research, and portfolio analytics.

Caspi served as the Chief Technology Officer at SWYFT - Aeronautical Technology Ltd, a technology startup focused on drone flight control solutions. In this role, they led strategic planning, technology and product roadmap, and intellectual property strategy.

Ram also held positions as a Strategic Advisory Board Member at flexiWAN and a Partner at NextLeap Ventures, where they led business development, fund raising, due diligence, and strategy incubation efforts for portfolio companies.

Currently, Caspi serves as a Board Director at ShieldIoT and a Board Observer at Newphotonics.

Ram Caspi earned their MSc degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1991 to 1994.
