Daniel Varghai is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Shifamed, with a background in biomedical engineering and innovative research contributions. Previously, Daniel worked at Medtronic focusing on algorithm development for real-time signal detection in cardiac devices and contributed to product lifecycle testing methodologies. As President and founder of the Global Health Design Collaborative, Daniel led a medical waste disposal design team and successfully secured over $25,000 in funding. Other roles include leading engineering design projects at Case's Rising Engineers & Technological Entrepreneurs, serving as a research fellow at Case Western Reserve University, and assisting with genetic research on hearing loss. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and an Engineer’s Degree in Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
