Manufacturing Technology Engineering Lead at Shift EV

AbdelRahman Hany has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. AbdelRahman is currently working as a Process Engineering Lead at Shift EV, where they manage a team of manufacturing process engineers and oversees manufacturing CapEx budgeting, planning, and execution. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Shift EV, where they were responsible for machinery and equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and pilot runs, as well as designing and improving production lines.

AbdelRahman also served as an army recruit in the Egyptian Air Force.

While studying at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, AbdelRahman was actively involved in various student activities. AbdelRahman was the Head of the Chassis Team and later a Technical Member of the Chassis Team in the Cairo University Racing Team, which aimed to design and manufacture a Formula Student car. AbdelRahman also held leadership positions in GATE, a student activity at CUFE, where they were responsible for managing social media marketing and branding.
