Ahmed Hosny

Ahmed Hosny has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 when they worked as a Software Engineer at Valeo. During this time, they were involved in the design, implementation, testing, and integration of software components for 24 GHz Radar systems for various car models. Ahmed also played a role in customer support, software project planning, and software architecture development.

In 2016, Ahmed Hosny took on the role of Software Architect at Valeo, where they continued to contribute to the development of radar systems for Chery and JLR. Additionally, they led the enhancement of software implementation processes, including the development of standards, guides, and reviews.

In 2019, Ahmed Hosny joined Simplex CNC as a Software Engineer, where they worked until July 2019. In this role, they were involved in software development.

From 2020 to 2021, Ahmed Hosny worked as a Software Architect at Swift Act. Ahmed was responsible for designing and implementing software components for a Front Camera ASIL-B product for Magna International (Audi). Ahmed also contributed to FuSa software design and implementation.

Ahmed is also involved in the design of system and software solutions for control, connectivity, and infotainment in electric vehicles, as well as cloud computing for vehicle data.

Ahmed Hosny obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in the years 2020 to 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed has also obtained certifications in the field of software architecture and project management. Ahmed achieved the CPSA-F certification from the ISAQB (International Software Architecture Qualification Board) in July 2019, and the CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2018.
