Patrick Waldo

Patrick Waldo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Patrick currently holds the position of Vice President of Product Management at Shift Media, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product at Redica Systems from September 2021 to March 2022. From September 2020 to September 2021, Patrick served as the Vice President of Product Management at Decernis - A FoodChain ID Company. Before that, they held various roles at Decernis, including Director of Product Management & Planning, Assistant Director of Special Projects, Senior Product Manager, Lead Developer, and Research Assistant. From June 2012 to May 2019, Patrick worked as a Consultant under their own self-employment. Patrick also has experience as a Translator at roBOt Festival from May 2013 to October 2013, and as a Progetto Formativo at Assemblea Legislativa Regione Emilia Romagna from October 2012 to January 2013. Additionally, Patrick has worked as a Management Consultant at Southwest Alternate Media Project from July 2012 to October 2012, as an Associate Director at Future Tenant from September 2009 to August 2010, as a CTEFL Teacher Trainer at Via Lingua from April 2007 to December 2007, and as an English Teacher at Istituto Americano from October 2006 to December 2007.

Patrick Waldo completed their education history as follows:

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History (Honors) from Grinnell College, attending from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Sidwell Friends School in 2002.

Patrick then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, attending from 2009 to 2012. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.

In addition to their academic degrees, Patrick has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Patrick became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in March 2014 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in December 2014, both from the Scrum Alliance. In October 2019, they achieved the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Patrick also holds the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in January 2020. Moreover, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in August 2020 and holds the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from February 2015.

Lastly, Patrick has received additional certification as a Data Science for All 'DS4A' Mentor from Correlation One in December 2021. Before that, they obtained a Certificate to Teach English as a Foreign Language (CTEFL) from Via Lingua in Florence, Italy in September 2006.
