Julien Barrau has a diverse range of work experience. Julien started their career as a Blue-collar worker intern at INPI in 2013. In 2014, they worked as an R&D Intern at Daimler AG, where they focused on optimizing the driveability of automatic transmission vehicles. Julien then became a Teaching Assistant at MINES ParisTech - Ecole des mines de Paris, where they taught a course on Complex Variable Functions. In 2015, Julien worked as a Research Trainee at CSIRO, where they designed a camera/balloon/tether system for robot inspection tasks. Julien also developed control algorithms and used simulation software to model the system. In 2016, they joined IsCool Entertainment as a Data Scientist, where they developed regression and classification models to predict player behavior in video games. Additionally, they worked for Shift Technology as a Data Scientist and later as the Head of Data Science R&D. At Shift Technology, Julien managed a team of Data Scientists and led the implementation and improvement of fraud detection solutions for various clients, including AXA Group. Overall, Julien has a strong background in data science and research, with expertise in fraud detection, player behavior prediction, and optimization.

Julien Barrau completed their education at Mines Paris, where they obtained a Master's degree in General Engineering from 2012 to 2016. Before that, they attended Lycée Hoche from 2010 to 2012 and passed examinations for prestigious schools such as "Ecole Polytechnique," "Centrale Paris," and "Mines ParisTech." Prior to their secondary education, they obtained a Baccalauréat S from La Salle - Passy Buzenval between 2003 and 2010. Julien also possesses a TOEIC certification with a score of 985.
