Robert Morton

Rob Morton has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate communications and public relations. Robert (Rob) is currently the Head of Corporate Communications at Shift Technology since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Communications Professional from October 2018 to February 2019. Before that, they took a sabbatical in 2017 while evaluating their next career move. Previously, they held positions at Akamai Technologies from 2011 to 2017, where they served as Director of Public Relations and Senior Manager of Public Relations. Robert (Rob) also gained experience as a Managing Director at Davies Murphy Group from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they held the role of Public Relations Manager at IONA Technologies, Inc from 2004 to 2007, where they played a key role in establishing the company's market leadership in Service Oriented Architecture and open source initiatives. Their career started at PAN Communications, Inc in 1995, where they worked in various roles, including Director, Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Senior Associate, Associate, and Junior Associate.

Rob Morton completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Dickinson College, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
