Julien Baumont

Julien Baumont is a Partner at Shift4Good since January 2023, focusing on supporting entrepreneurs and impact-driven startups in Europe and Southeast Asia. Prior to this, Julien served as a Senior FoF Investor at the European Investment Fund from June 2016 to January 2023, leading over 40 investments in European VC funds with a focus on disruptive technology and climate innovation, as well as holding 50+ Advisory Board positions across 14 countries. Julien's earlier experience includes acting as a Senior Manager in Advisory at PwC from September 2008 to June 2016, where advisory work centered on international expansion for European tech startups and SMEs, and managing projects in commercial and financial due diligence. Julien's career began as a Finance Analyst at Chronopost in 2007-2008. Julien holds a Master's degree in Economics from Université Grenoble Alpes.
