Richard Clarke

Richard Clarke is an experienced professional with a distinguished career in the military and various advisory roles. Currently serving as an Independent Director at General Dynamics, Shift5, and IVP, as well as a Strategic Advisor at Human Capital, Richard also holds positions as Senior Mentor at National Defense University and Honorary Board Member at Home Base. Additionally, Richard is an Advisory Board Member for the non-profit Spirit of America. Richard's prior experience includes a 39-year career at the United States Department of Defense, culminating as United States Special Operations Commander, where responsibilities included overseeing the manning, training, and equipping of over 75,000 personnel and managing a $13 billion budget. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA from Benedictine College, and a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from National Defense University.
